Venues & Getting Around
KSE 2026 uses three venues. Most recommended hotels are in central Kanazawa (Oyama Shrine / Omicho area) or near JR Kanazawa Station, so all directions below start from JR Kanazawa Station.

🚆 Nov 10 – Kanazawa Station → JAIST Ishikawa Campus (about 1 hour)
JAIST is in Nomi City, about 20 km south of Kanazawa. There is no direct train; use train + the free JAIST Shuttle (Tsurugi Line). No reservation is needed for this shuttle — just tell the driver you are attending KSE 2026.
- IR Ishikawa Railway: JR Kanazawa Station → Nishi-Kanazawa (1 stop, about 3 min).
- Walk to the adjacent Shin-Nishikanazawa Station and take the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line → Tsurugi (terminal, about 30 min).
- At Tsurugi Station, take the JAIST Shuttle (free) → JAIST (about 13 min).

Many recommended hotels (Kanazawa New Grand, Intergate, KUMU, Tokyu Stay, Four Points Flex, Torifito) are within a few minutes’ walk of the CCI.
🚶 Nov 14 – Kanazawa CCI area → JAIST Kanazawa Station Office
The office is on the 9th floor (Office Area) of Porte Kanazawa, about 2 minutes’ walk from Kanazawa Station East Gate (Kenrokuen Exit). Take the elevator in the Porte Kanazawa office lobby to 9F.
